Welcome to the Your Photos on Canvas blog!
I would like to take this first blog post to introduce you to myself and this new blog. Basically, I am an avid photographer. I take photos of many different themes and subjects. My pictures can include scenery, flowers, people, or anything you could possibly think of.
I also like to make prints of my photos, and when I do, I almost always print my photos to canvas. This blog won’t necessarily be dedicated solely to canvas prints, it will include all kinds of different subject matter that relates to photography. However, canvas photos will be the primary focus. This is because printing on canvas is still relatively a new printing technique that not everyone is familiar with.
There are thousands of photography blogs out there, but there just is not as much information about putting your photos on canvas. I have been doing so for several years with great success, and I feel I can share my experiences. I also am hoping that visitors will be able to share their knowledge on how they acheive the best possible canvas prints.
I will say that I have already found a canvas printing company that I am already extremely pleased with. Photos Printed on Canvas is who I currently use with very good success. I highly recommend you give it a try and see how canvas can make your photos come alive.
If anyone out there has certain topics that they would like to discuss, please speak up. There are several different subjects that apply to the photo on canvas theme. Stretching, framing, resolution, and color management are just a few related topics we can start with. We can also discuss the basics of photography, making sure you get the best possible print.
